APCTP Young Scientist Training Program
at the Postdoctoral Fellow Level
The Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) solicits applications for a few positions for the Young Scientist Training Program at the postdoctoral fellow level in theoretical physics and related fields. APCTP, first founded in 1996, is a non-governmental organization aiming for an international center dedicated to excellence in research and the training of young scientists in the Asia-Pacific region. Applicants are expected to have demonstrated exceptional research potential, with significant contributions beyond or through the doctoral dissertation. Applications from member countries of the Center, in particular South Asian Countries, are strongly encouraged.
The monthly stipend starts from approximately KRW2,000,000 (Korean Won) per month. Some funds for travel and research activities are available if selected. The new position typically commences on September 1st each year, with the application deadline of December 31, 2007. However, applications and appointments can also be made all year round on a continual basis, if requested and available.
